At a meeting held on November 24 by the Coats Global Union Network, led by IndustriALL Global Union, February 11 was recognized as the Global Day of Action for Coats businesses around the world.
Members of the Coats Global Network of Unions know that some of Coats’ employees in different parts of the world are non-union and working conditions vary.
IndustriALL Global Union made calls to Coats for sustainable industrial relations, but received no positive response. Thereupon, the Coats Global Action Plan was put into effect as of 11 February 2022.
