A new process is starting for dismissed workers in Hayri Uğur Tekstil which our union is organized placed in Urfa province.
Factory management took a new decision by revaluation of the situation after talks between factory management and our union.
According to the decision notified to our union, IndustriALL Global Union which we are a member of, and to the brand that workplace is working with, the process will work as follows;
1) First, the dismissed workers will be called to return to work.
2) Those who return to work within 15 days will be paid within the framework of the rules determined by the law for the time they leave the job. Also covering of lawyer and court cost arised from reemployment lawsuits they have opened will be discussed.
Our union considers every step taken for the protection of the jobs of the workers, especially our members, and the continuity of the workplace and the business, a great gain and hopes that this approach will contribute to the solution of the problems.
