The 17th General Assembly and 57th Anniversary of the Founding of our Confederation D\u0130SK was held with events and meetings at The Green Park Pendik Conference Center in Istanbul.<\/p>\n

On February 8, 2024, on the occasion of the founding anniversary, an International Trade Union Conference was held with trade union representative guests from abroad, followed by a concert by Z\u00fclf\u00fc Livaneli accompanied by the IBB Symphony orchestra at Cemal Re\u015fit Rey Concert Hall.<\/p>\n

Representatives from different countries, including the International Trade Union Confederation ITUC (of which DISK is a member) and the European Trade Union Confederation ETUC (of which DISK is a member), presented the developments in their countries, shared their views on Turkey and sent their solidarity greetings to DISK members.<\/p>\n

DISK’s General Assembly began on February 9th.<\/p>\n

IndustriALL Deputy Secretary General Kemal \u00d6zkan delivered a speech at the 17th General Assembly and conveyed his feelings of solidarity. \u00d6zkan expressed his pride in being a member of DISK and sent a message of solidarity to our confederation.<\/p>\n

The second day of the General Assembly consisted of the discussion of the working reports and speeches on the agenda.<\/p>\n

The 17th General Assembly ended with the elections held on February 11, 2024. As a result of the elections held with the principle of secret ballot and open counting, in the first statement made by the district election board, the DISK Board of Directors of the new period consisted of the following names:<\/p>\n
