In the month of March of 2011, starting with the start of internal events and disturbances, the number of citizens of the Syrian Arab Republic who went to Turkey in order to obtain international protection increased. Our country has granted these people the status of \u201ctemporary protection\u201d. The increase in the number of human rights abuses, starting in 2012 and after, led to a dramatic increase in humanitarian needs. With the onset of internal unrest, Turkey, which is linked with Syria with historical, cultural and strong neighborly ties, has adopted an open-door policy in return for the Syrians who have been affected by this issue.<\/p>\n
As a result of the waves of displacement caused by this humanitarian crisis, Turkey hosts 256,971 Syrian foreigners in 26 temporary shelters distributed over 10 cities. Because of the lack of peace and security in the Syrian Arab Republic, the duration of stay has been prolonged for Syrians under temporary protection in our country, and this makes the issue of Availability of social alignment is very necessary. As a result of these matters, support has been provided to the aforementioned people to continue their lives outside the temporary shelters and as of July 2019 108,732 foreigners were hosted in 11 temporary shelters in 8 different governorates, and as a result of these matters, support was provided to the aforementioned people to continue perpetuating their lives outside temporary shelters. As of September 16, 2020, 59,877 Syrians were hosted under temporary protection in 7 centers Temporary accommodation in 5 governorates. In addition to what was mentioned, there are 3,559,041 people who are under temporary protection living outside the temporary shelters.<\/p>\n
All education services are provided for all stages, even pre-school stages (kindergartens) inside the camps, and medical services are provided to them with the same standards that are provided to Turkish citizens. In the temporary protection camps there are also educational centers for adults for Syrian foreigners, where the necessary assistance is provided to those who do not have a profession in order to gain them some abilities that qualify them to pursue different professions.<\/p>\n
Turkey does not only provide temporary hosting services to the Syrians, but works to prepare them for the post-crisis period. A manual of written standards was developed for the establishment and installation of temporary housing centers, and thus the conditions for all centers became equal. These standards are designed for the use of these centers during a natural pest infestation as urgent pest population centers.<\/p>\n
Turkey, within its historical responsibilities, did not remain indifferent towards inhumane transactions in Syria, through its establishment of housing centers within Turkish territory and temporary housing centers that were established inside Syrian territory, and thus Turkey became the only country that acted generously in order to provide humanitarian aid to citizens Syrians.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
