Collective bargaining negotiations have started in Artesa Fabric, İnteks International and Öz Tekstil businesses where our union is organized.
The first sessions were held at Artesa Fabric on November 10, İnteks International on November 11 and Öz Tekstil on November 12.
Meetings held in three businesses operating in the fields of knitting, dyeing and ready-to-wear and whose contracts for the previous period will expire in December 2021 were held with the participation of workplace representatives.
At Aster and İnteks, the delegation of our union, chaired by the Secretary General Celal Aslan, and the representatives of the employers made evaluations on the administrative articles in the first sessions, and a mutual agreement was reached in most of them.
In Öz Tekstil, in the second session held on November 18, between the delegation of our union, headed by Chairman Kazım Doğan, and the employer, an agreement was reached on a significant part of the administrative items.
Counter suggestions were received from the employer’s side regarding the union’s financial offers such as wages and social assistance.
The economic conditions of Turkey, the developments experienced by the sector and the expectations of the workers were expressed at these meetings.
The negotiation processes are expected to last until the beginning of January 2022 under normal conditions.
